Walking away with a smoking gun....a sexy woman in heels...this image was stuck in my head for years..... finally came out subconciously while painting a human heart....the lyrics were stuck in my head from listening to Sage Francis, he slowly mumbles them at the end of a song....then being reinforced by the google search because I knew I had heard those words before....Bon Jovi came up.....and ultimately becoming an image on my canvas that spoke to so many frustrated women...women who feel empowered by this sort of behavior...even if it was just once...
24"X36" ... acrylic on canvas....I received many comments on this....mostly from women....men sort of cringed at the sight of it....some thought it was dramatic....overall I'm pretty happy with it....I'm going to make the woman's shadow more defined....and will display it at the Cannibal Flower show coming up on May 22nd....also available on print...
